About Us
NESTA Founded in 2007, it is called the " Maple Overseas Cultural Foundation" in the begging. We rename for "Nest Foundation of Canada Society" in 2018. We also take a milestone rebrand " NESTA" for the organization in 2022. As a pioneering entity in the field of impact in Canada, our vision is to form a global community of people and organisations united in building a better future for all through actions that seek to have a high social and environmental impact.
We are a non-profit organization and a global platform that dedicated connects, inspires and educates entrepreneurs, investors, governments, and corporates, providing them with needed resources, opportunities and tailored guidance so they can create solutions to the world's most pressing challenges. We lead globally-focused, innovative programs, activities, events and communities that will pave the way for those seeking to make a positive social and environmental impact through their startup or capital.
NESTA Foundation inspires people to support each other and causes they care about. We connect the generosity of donors with the energy, ideas and time of people in the community. Together, we’ve been making meaningful and lasting impacts in neighborhoods and communities. We work with individuals, corporations and charitable agencies to create permanent endowment funds and then use the income to support thousands of charities. The original capital is endowed so that it generates income in perpetuity.
We recognize that communities are complex and that collaboration between multiple stakeholders is needed to help everyone thrive and evolve. We knew early on that 'giving' didn't just mean monetary contributions--that's why we encourage donors to give their time, talent, treasure, and testimony. Every year, through the generous supporters, we host lots of innovative projects – large and small – in areas such as arts and culture, education, children and youth issues, environment, animal welfare, community health, and social development.
We help communities fundraise unrestricted, sustainable dollars through the workplace, and we help business achieve giving, engagement, and social impact goals. We do this to bring more resources to the nonprofit and charity that are changing our world. We transform your gifts into service projects that change lives both close to home and around the world. With your help, we can make lives better in the local and around the world.
